His research gradually came to a standstill. It
was extremely difficult to determine which gene was variable and how to reinforce
its ability for breeding. The most troublesome problem was that it was
impossible to apply experiments on human beings even the same experiment was
able to materialize at the microscopic level in his lab. Ashkenazim was
