He emphasized the word "again" to attract Shy-Rock's attention.

 

It was the second time they had met since he asked to marry his second daughter, Shalom, a few years ago. Her father rejected to marrying his daughter. He proposed overseas study in the United States as a condition of their separation. Girgo catched at the idea.

 

He had understood at the beginning that it was difficult for him to get married with Shalom because there was big difference in social status between them. Dr. Girgo came from a poor Russian farmer, and Shalom was from an elite Ashkenazi. He weighed marriage and study in the United States. He took his own advantage. Dr. Girgo was a man of mercenary.
