N-town was selected for the experiment. In the town, there were Palestinian and Jewish citizens including Ashkenazim together. The number and composition of the inhabitant were ideal. There was another reason that a military hospital was nearby city.

 

Subjects were informed that they were being vaccinated against a new virus for the upcoming flu season. They were also explained that they might get a slight fever after the inoculation, but it would subside within a few days.
