Chapter 64 The virus came to Earth on a
meteorite (2) In search for host (2/3)
It was not only natives or new intruders but
also the death of the host itself that threatened the life of the Galaxy. When
the life of the host was over, the life of the Galaxy itself was over, too. It was
the destiny of a parasite. Galaxy couldn’t escape from its fate.
The external environment in which the host lived
was by no means safe, too. It was dominated by the law of the jungle. To escape
various dangers, the weak acquired various special talents. Birds gained wings
to escape from terrestrial enemies. Turtles, when attacked by foreign
predators, hid in their shells and waited for the enemy to give up and leave.
And some creatures escaped from the enemy's attack with quick runaway. In these
manners, the weak survived and left their descendants.
